1ST EDITION (2007) – FINLAND: INTERNATIONALIZATION AND INNOVATION

Pauline Pourailly

The first FemCAT benchmarking trip was to explore excellence in the field of technology transfer and education in Finland. The consensus approach to long-term objectives for the country, and public-private partnerships in the implementation of actions to achieve them, formed the basis of the observations carried out on this trip.

Throughout the trip, we explored the experience of Nokia Corporation in depth, and there was also opportunity to see the work carried out by various business organizations whose mission is to strengthen the development of industry and the internationalization of Finnish companies. We also took a close-up look at the national system for promoting research and development.
